omg. the one thing i absolutely hate about being a singaporean is the accent. ya. we do have an accent. a horribly awful one at that. its just that strong local slang that comes out.. i hate it! its just so thick. an it warbles all our speech. the words usually come out all.. round? i dunno? its like, we are constantly curling our tongues.

it gets exceptionally pronounced when we try to put on a fake american accent. yucks!

and it also comes out when people sing. yaya. singapore idol. woo. everyone's talking bout it. but its true man. hearing those people sing with their thick singaporean accents. its just jarring.
