i know it was just a little trip. really little. it was malacca for goodness sake. but *sobs* i didn't wanna leaaaavvveeee.. i don't wanna come back and start studying. i don't wanna come back and face stupid tuition kids. i don't wanna come back and have to share alex with his work and his exercising.. boohoohoo. but i want him all to myself! *whines*
after this post.. i'l have to go mug. boring!
malacca trip!!
it was a really short trip.. tour guides being dixon and ju jie.. we pretty much went there to eat and shop. [and repeat].. hahaha. dixon drove up.. so once again, alex and i were at the back seat.. snoozing.. i tried really hard to keep awake. but it was a futile attempt.
our hotel! more like.. a motel. or a budget hotel. but anyway, i really don't think its worth it to spend on hotels. so yeah. it was fine for me..
so by the time we reached, it was like 1/2am? somehow.. when we reached, alex and i were wide awake.. so while ju jie and dixon went to sleep after checking in.. we decided to explore a bit. heng there were these pubs a short distance away from our hotel.
nothing like my good ol' hoegaarden! check out the super old glasses

the pub very retro. its like the bojangles at upper bukit timah? is that what that damn road is called? anyway, this pub is.. quite boring.. the first night, it was almost empty. the second night was better.. until they started playing techno. *faints*

the buildings there are really funky la. ie. old!
brought my trusty hanks and snoopy. and it wasn't my idea to take that pic. alex seems to find it highly amusing that i brought them along. bahs.
our simple breakfast. [told you the hotel is budget lo] but quite nice lehs.
i think my most frequently uttered phrase on this trip was
"baby baby! camera!!!"

some pictures of our hotel. took a whole bunch! the interior is really fantastic. i'm not kidding. or rather.. its fantastic in a rustic, retro way. i found it fascinating really. its definitely no 5 star hotel.. but its got its own charm.
one of the buildings around our hotel. they pretty much all look like that anyway.
quite cool whaaat.
for our dinner, we headed for amigo's.. all the food choices were made by our tour guide.. having come here oodles of times.
please check out the car in the bottom right corner. can you see what is on its hood? sheesh
this place has the most fantastic fish in the world!
our food was supposed to have arrived on this super hot hot plate. so hot and sizzling that we would have to protect ourselves with the table cloth. but sighs. we were short changed.. but the fish was still heavenly!! i'm drooling just thinking of the fish. mmmmm

headed for the night market after that. they were selling all sortsa stuff. including weapons!
the bbq cuttlefish over there was amazing! heavenly. but RM10 for 10!? insane la.
funky mirror at the hotel "lobby"
but its damn kok kok. the hotel actually locks up after a certain time at night. so if the attendant is not around, have to wait at the gates for him to open up. hahaha. on our last night on the way back to the hotel.. there was this queue outside the gates.. and the ah pek was just unlocking the gates. we rushed over.. cuz if not, the ah pek would have to open the gates twice. so pai seh
the alley to the pubs. nice!
my super manly boyfriend. it takes a man to pull off a nail sticker k.
our tour guides for the trip. thanks so much!!
so yes. this is it. took sooo much photos. but i'm so lazy to collage them. so just put in a few over here lo. i wish i had one of those big ass'd cameras tho. the whole time was using my phone. haha
but yea. i had a great time. just to be able to spend time with my baby i suppose. sighs. he'l be going for reservist next week. and i'l really really have to start mugging for my papers. i suppose this was a well deserved break.
really can't wait till our next getaway!
