goose-pimply post ahead! you've been warned!!

so yes. alex and i have been together 2 years now. its been a tough 2nd year actually. the 1st was all happy and la-la and rainbows and butterflies. but the past year has been well, rough. (wow edna. rough and tough huh? is that the best you can come up with?)

i guess the honeymoon period has kinda faded.. with occasional appearances every once in a while. oh gosh. i'm making this sound really bad. but it wasn't. just wasn't as 甜甜的.. we quarreled more. but we learnt so much more about each other in the process..

we still had our nice 甜甜的 moments. but yes. i guess i was just greedy for more. hehs

well, we had fun at the chalet over the weekend. with stolen moments together. haha. like, riding off to changi beach park to look at the planes fly by.. thanks love! i loved the "fireworks" and special bubbles we had. hahaha.

headed off to terminal 3 for the first stop of our anniversary adventure. had a personal tour guide too! hahaha. none other than ju jie.. who works there actually. haha. and she told us bout this million-dollar-people-sensing-fan/flower-thingamajig-that-follows-you-around.

right.

but T3 was gorge! greenery and all. (but not that hideous saga seed! so wrong!) i particularly liked the way the light just streams in! it makes T1 look so dreary. but in the end, i still like the other 2 terminals more. more memories attached i suppose.

2nd stop for our adventure took us to marina. where we caught a movie and dinner. not much of an adventure? but only cuz it was a prelude to the 3rd and final stop of his plan!

found a little corner and started camwhoring. only cuz we realised that we haven't been taking many pictures of late. so decided to make up for lost time. and well. i'm kinda lazy. so all photos from here are in their natural glory.. totally untouched by the magic of photoshop. oh my. fats.



i like this shot. so. erm. hair commercially? mine tho. not his. he doesn't like this cuz somehow the wind blew this lock of hair smack down the center of his forehead.



this he likes. but erm. pardon the.. erm.. line down there. wasn't doing it on purpose i swear!

sooo. what is this 3rd and final stop you may ask? well, unfortunately for me.. i kinda spoilt the surprise for myself like, 10 months ago? sighs.

i asked to take a look at this particular credit card statement of his. and he passed it to me! not knowing that it showed the transaction for the purchase of 2 singapore flyer tickets! silly bum. sighs. he didn't exactly tell me when the tickets were for.. but it was kinda obvious you've gotta admit, this being one of the more significant dates around?



wee!! the view from our capsule. we were trying to get an empty capsule to ourselves. we managed to avoid this HUGE group of indian tourists. but ended up with a PRC family. sighs. there goes our romantic ride.



but it was really really nice! the capsule was big. so we still managed to get our own lil' space. with the 2 groups interchanging "choice" phototaking spots without much trouble.

the scenery really was nice! it was just a nice shiny twinkling mess everywhere!

and the best thing was.. it happened to be a full moon that night. so the sea was really pretty as well. it being a clear night.. the moon really cast a glow on the water surface.. so it looked kinda eerie.. but really gorgeous as well..

one last look at the flyer from the carpark. that white blob near his eye is the moon! it was really nice and huge that night. the moon of course. what were you thinking?

well, i really enjoyed our adventure. tho the ride to the chalet and from T3 to marina was a killer. think one of the reasons why we fell ill was cuz of excessive sunning. and also cuz of all the heaty food! where heaty = yummy and obviously fattening. yikes!

thanks my love for planning everything. and for trying to surprise me.. tho' i spoilt it for myself.. i really enjoyed myself. its the company that counts isn't it? thanks so much for your gift as well dear. i know you put in a lot of effort into doing it. and i really like it a lot. i just hope you like my gift as well.. so sorry that you had to make do with the car only. i promise i'l try to finish up the house asap k? i hope you'l like that too!
